A simple idea that changes everything (including how you pack)

The other day, I read something that really stayed with me.
It was from a newsletter by Jesse Itzler—husband of Sara Blakely, founder of Spanx—and it captured a moment I think so many of us recognize: everything happening at once, noise everywhere, constant motion… and then the decision to quietly step away.
What struck me most was this idea:
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do… is step away.
It sounds simple, but it’s not something we do often enough.
We’re so used to staying “on”—responding, moving, juggling—that we forget clarity doesn’t come from more noise. It comes from space.
And I realized, this doesn’t just apply to our time… it applies to how we live, travel, and even how we get dressed.
So often, we overpack, overthink, over-prepare—especially when it comes to shoes. We bring options “just in case,” which ends up creating more clutter, more decisions, more noise.
But what if instead, we created space?
That’s exactly the mindset behind Kara Mac Shoes.
One pair. Multiple looks. Less to carry. More clarity in your choices.
Because whether it’s your schedule, your suitcase, or your day…
sometimes the most powerful move is simplifying.
