As an FIT graduate and fashion designer for big brands in NYC, Kara Mac commuted daily often with an extra bag of shoes, prepared for any meeting, occasion and event, not to mention walking shoes to and from the train. It was cumbersome.
She thought there has to be a better way. So she invented it.
Kara Mac Shoes' patented click-and-snap design allows women to instantly customize their shoes with convertible heels and interchangeable accessories – "Candy" – for every mood, occasion and destination.
Her intentions were more than just designing something for herself, but she did so with the environment in mind. Sustainable materials and reducing fast fashion footwear in landfills.
